Oral Surgery in Buckhead, Atlanta
Dr. Jennifer Okhiria spent more than ten years operating in other people's offices before she opened The Buckhead Oral Surgery Suite. She built it to work the way she thinks surgery should: unhurried, honest about what a procedure can and can't do, and run by the surgeon.
Finding the right place to start

Unhurried
Every patient starts with a conversation and leaves with a printed estimate. You decide from there. "I am in my own private office, so I do have more of a boutique feel," Dr. Okhiria says. "It's not a hurry-to-rush process."

Seen
A CBCT scanner shows the nerve, the sinus and the bone before anyone picks up an instrument. Your consult happens in a private room with your scans on a big screen, so you can see exactly what we see.
Calm
Oral surgery makes most people nervous, and Dr. Okhiria understands. Local anesthesia, laughing gas, oral sedation or IV sedation, with Dr. Okhiria helping you find the best fit for your health and your procedure. The team runs emergency drills with her every quarter.

Personal
One surgeon does your consult, your surgery and your follow-up call. "When I call patients for follow-ups, I call them myself," she says. Afterward, we send you back to your general dentist with a clear report.

"Everybody's experience is different, but the experience in my office will be like nothing they've had before."
Dr. Jennifer Okhiria
“Dr. Okhiria and the entire environment of the office helped me feel calm and supported before my procedure… I had all four wisdom teeth removed with IV sedation… If I knew it would be this great of an experience, I wouldn’t have been worried at all!”

Atlanta is my home. I grew up here, moved away for dental school and my residency training, and came back in 2016 to raise my family.
It’s not about what you do, but how you make patients feel. A lot of that comes from sitting down, looking them in the eye, and asking what their wants and needs are.
